Last Saturday the Djalita Cheerleaders from Vleuten were at the European Open Championship in Disneyland, Paris. Here they achieved double gold in the categories ‘hiphop cheer team’ and ‘cheer hiphop duo’. In addition, they achieved a bronze medal in the category ‘All girl cheerleading’.
“This is obviously a great result, we are very proud!” Said cheerleading coach Danuta Donk. “With this performance, we have qualified for the World Championships UDA/UCA in March 2012. It takes place in Disneyland Orlando, USA. We hope that we could experience as a Dutch team.
Besides recovering from the magical adventure the cheerleaders are already busy with preparations for Sunday, November 13, where the annual auditions for the team take place. More information can be found at www.djalitacheerleaders.nl

It is again It’s time for the biggest, most comfortable and most atmospheric autumn festival of the South: the Oktoberfest. For six days, from 15 October to the 20th October, from Friday to Wednesday means that Sittard in the Dutch celebrate. For the sixth time is the hustle and bustle with leather trousers and Dirndl all Sittard head.
The neighbors from Germany seem to have found pleasure in the Oktoberfest in Sittard. Especially popular is the program in the fire-wheat pavilion. Six days to celebrate.
With three hard pavilions and more than fifty musical acts, the October parade, the nostalgic fun fair, a gun club and guild meetings, a spectacular fireworks display and a sensational high-wire act and this Oktoberfest is again the absolute experience! Beer, white wine, half meter bratwurst and an unbeatable atmosphere – Sittard is ready.
On Friday came the Cherleader Gold Fire of Dusseldorf on this Oktoberfest. 12 lovely dancers had a highly acclaimed appearance on the main stage. It also came the “New” – Michael and Karolina – for your first major stage work, it was sort of a baptism of fire. And the Gold Fire Girls were a fantastic “Broadway stairway down to the stage to come – a premiere! That the Moderator of our Düsseldorf Dutch girls on the geographical origin “KÖLLE” imputed was not at all. This faux pas was the second appearance made up for it. 2000 Dutch “Bavaria” in the tent went wild at the “Let Me Entertain You” and “Candyman” show. The girls had their fun! The level of all participants was again very high this year. Dance experience have brought the most girls already at prestigious dance academies such as Martha Lucia, Albeda Collega and Frank Sanders (Musical Theatre).
The finale, with over 20 participants will take place in late October. Outside the Netherlands, the dancers Patricia, Jessica, Thessa and a rookie to be cast while participating in parallel on the ELITE Cheerleading Camp in Berlin.

On 26 September 2010 to hold its annual Djalita cheerleader tryout for the 2010/2011 season.
Djalita means dancing on a high level with the former cheerleaders of the Amsterdam Admirals. The team was founded by ex-cheerleader Danuta Donk after the end of the Admirals in 2007. Djalita is a new formation of dancers that pool their experiences and to combine their passion for dancing with some pep and power.
The Djalita cheerleaders performed already at the following events: KNVB Cup final / football, Radio538, Go Apres Ski Party Ahoy, ESPN, Cap Gemini, PSV / Vitesse / FC Utrecht, Nightmare and more!
To Djalita looking girls from 17 years working in a team and participate in weekly training in the region of Utrecht (Netherlands).
A Djalita should look good, be professional and friendly and dance well and may stimulate the team spirit.

Haarlem Baseball Week 2010 was an international baseball tournament, the Pim Mulier Stadium in Haarlem, 11 July to 18 July 2010 was held – it was already the 25th Edition.
The Netherlands was sure to win the tournament, having already won the first seven games have been sovereign. The Dutch team under the guidance of manager Jim Stoeckel received the award during the great ceremony after a total of 20 games. The Dutch team played a very strong tournament and is ready for the Championship, to be on 23 July starts.
