Cheerleaders from Vleuten are European Champion


Last Saturday the Djalita Cheerleaders from Vleuten were at the European Open Championship in Disneyland, Paris. Here they achieved double gold in the categories ‘hiphop cheer team’ and ‘cheer hiphop duo’. In addition, they achieved a bronze medal in the category ‘All girl cheerleading’.

“This is obviously a great result, we are very proud!” Said cheerleading coach Danuta Donk. “With this performance, we have qualified for the World Championships UDA/UCA in March 2012. It takes place in Disneyland Orlando, USA. We hope that we could experience as a Dutch team.

Besides recovering from the magical adventure the cheerleaders are already busy with preparations for Sunday, November 13, where the annual auditions for the team take place. More information can be found at www.djalitacheerleaders.nl

German Bowl Cheerleader 2010

In the third attempt the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes have finally made it. In a game marked by two defensive lines at the end they kept the upper hand with 17:10 and won their first German championship. 11 121 spectators took in the spectacle.
They were cheered by more than 140 cheerleaders on the sideline. Cheerleader stunt and dance teams performing in the pre-game show before the audience. The choreography had to be rescheduled at short notice from Organistaionsgründen. Since the teams traveled from all over Germany, had Coordinator Jasmin Felsenheim and Anja Westermann of Cheerleader of Hessen only 2 hours for the sample and the final touch.

Cheerleaders at NRW Day 2010 in Siegen

Düsseldorfs Cheerleader: Gold FireSiegen. Colorful, creative, traditional and a little diagonally. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia was present at the NRW-Tag 2010 in Siegen in all its diversity. An interesting cross-section of cultural customs and traditions provided the big parade on Saturday afternoon. Accompanied by traditional marches and carnival music, the costumes in fancy cars and Fußgruppen snaked through the center of Siegen. Along the way were the masses trellis. And so the young visitors safe on Daddy’s shoulder or a garbage can on the road the good views of the showpiece. In addition to the host city wins around 70 groups from all regions of North Rhine-Westphalia part in the procession. And the cheerleaders from the far corners of the state and from the Rhineland-Palatinate beteilligten itself. Victory flagship – the Coronette Dancers – from the football team wins the set Sentinels heated one on the “Germany-moved-in” stage before Siegerlandhalle. The cheerleaders Gold Fire (pictured left) represented the city of Düsseldorf in procession, and sent us these great photos. The cheerleaders’ Heavenly Forces of the YMCA Altenkirchen enriched with their presence on the sports stage the NRW-Tag.
